The SV-2 is designed to feel immediate. There’s no LCD screen and no menu-diving. Every control is on the front panel, always live and ready to adjust. Each knob can be pushed to return to its stored setting, and illuminated switches clearly indicate which effects or settings are active.
Sound selection is handled by two rotary dials, and eight central Favourite buttons provide instant access to your saved setups. A dedicated Panel Lock prevents accidental changes mid-performance – or from curious hands between sets!
At its core, the SV-2 is a piano – and it shows. The acoustic piano sounds are captured from some of the world’s most respected German, Italian, Austrian, and Japanese instruments, delivered with full dynamic range and a natural sense of space and realism. Uprights, character pianos, honky-tonks, and tack pianos add personality and flavour, while two harpsichords offer classical detail with both French and Italian voicings.
